IMPORTANT: WE HAVE A CHRISTMAS DOOR DECORATING CONTEST WHICH WILL BE JUDGED ON FRI DEC 5. WE BRAINSTORMED IDEAS IN CLASS TODAY AND I ASKED THE STUDENTS TO BRING IN MATERIALS FROM HOME (E.G. SCRAPBOOK PAPER, SCISSORS, CONSTRUCTION PAPER…ETC) SO WE CAN WORK ON OUR DOOR ON FRI NOV 28. BELOW IS AN IMAGE OF ONE OF THE IDEAS WE CAME UP WITH AS A CLASS FOR OUR DOOR. ALSO, WE CAME UP WITH A LIST TODAY (NOV 26) OF MATERIALS STUDENTS CAN BRING FOR FRI NOV 28.
I began the class today by taking up any questions the students had from yesterday’s homework. There were a few questions the students asked me to take up. After taking up the questions, I then moved on to the lesson for today which was a continuation of the lesson from yesterday titled “7.7 Solving Exponential Decay Problems (continued)”. There was still another example I wanted to cover with the students and also I wanted to show the students how to convert between an exponential function and logarithmic function. After going over the example and concepts related to the lesson I then assigned the homework for the students to work on for the remainder of the period (Pages 438 & 439 #7 to 10).
Below you will find a copies of the handouts/worksheets that were distributed/assigned in today’s class.
