Revised Schedule for the day – Nov 5, 2014
I began the class today by taking up any questions the students had from yesterday’s homework. After taking up the questions, I then moved on to a new lesson today which was titled “4.4 Investigating the Nature of the Roots”. I first reviewed with the students the discriminant (b^2 – 4ac) and then went over a few key concepts. I then did some examples before assigning the homework for the students to work on for the remainder of the period (Pages 232 & 232 #1 & 2(ab only), 4(ab), 5 – 7).
