IMPORTANT: THERE IS A SCHEDULE CHANGE TOMORROW (NOV 5) DUE TO THE GRADE 8 ORIENTATION DAY. PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED REVISED SCHEDULE BELOW.
Revised Schedule for the day – Nov 5, 2014
I began the class today by taking up any questions the students had from yesterday’s homework. I had a few questions emailed to me so I started off by taking up these questions on the digital projector (I also attached a copy below). After taking up the questions, I then moved on to the new lesson for today which was titled “3.2 Exterior Angles in a Triangle”. I first went over some key definitions and concepts before going over some examples. After going over the examples, I then gave the students the students some questions to work on from the textbook for the remainder of the period (Pages 83 & 84 #1 – 8).
Below you will find a copies of the handouts/worksheets that were distributed/assigned in today’s class.
Take-up of the homework from Nov 3 (Page 78 #7a & 10c) (I took this up at the start of class on the digital projector – these were questions that a students asked about via email)

Nov 4 – Lesson – 3.2 Exterior Angles of a Triangle

Hi Dylan,
I just did the solution to Page 84 #5 and posted it on today’s (Oct 4) blog posting (at the bottom of the page). Take a look at the solution and hopefully it makes sense. I will take it up at the start of class on Thur Nov 6 after you return back to school after Take Your Kids to Word Day tomorrow (Nov 5). Take care.
Mr. Bawa
