Revised Schedule for the day – Nov 5, 2014
The majority of the grade 9’s were away today for “Take Your Kids to Work Day”. There were still a few students in class today. For those students that were in class, I offered them a bonus assignment to do based on the material we have been working on for the last few days (section 3.1 and 3.2 of the textbook – see the Nov 3 & Nov 4 for the lessons). The bonus assignment is titled “Geometry #1 Worksheet – Find The Missing Values”. For this worksheet, the students have to find the value for each of the unknown variables and then tell me what property they used to find it (Eg/ x = 45 degrees —> SAT —–>Supplementary Angle Theorem). I will post an electronic copy of the bonus assignment below for those students that want to try it
