MFM1P – Oct 27, 2014

IMPORTANT:  THE STUDENTS WILL BE HAVING A UNIT TEST ON CHAPTER 1 (MEASURING FIGURES & OBJECTS) ON THUR OCT 30.

I began the class today by taking up any questions the students had from the in-class work I had assigned the students to do on Oct 23 (I told the students that this wasn’t for homework and that I would let them continue to work on these questions in class today – Page 20 #1 – 8).  There was 1 question that was emailed to me over the weekend so I took it up in class on the digital projector.  I told the students to continue to work on Page 20 #1 – 8 at their desks and then called students to the board to put their answers up.  As the students worked we took up the answers to the questions.  Once we had taken up all of the questions, I then assigned the next set of questions for the students to work on for the remainder of the period (Page 39 #9 to 16 & Page 36 #6 & 7).  I will take up any questions the students have at the start of tomorrow’s class or students can email me directly if they have a question (abawa@office.ldcsb.on.ca).
