The students had a quiz at the start of class today based on the assignment I took up with them last Friday titled “Binary, Octal, Hexadecimal & Decimal Review” (see the Sept 25 blog posting for further details). Once the students were finished their quiz, they were to work on the worksheet titled “Binary Addition” which I gave them on Fri Sept 25. Once all of the students were finished the quiz, I then told the students I was going to do a new lesson which was titled “Binary Subtraction”. I did some examples before assigning a worksheet for the students to work on titled “Binary Subtraction Worksheet”. I will take up the answers to the “Binary Addition” and “Binary Subtraction” worksheets at the start of tomorrow’s class. I posted a website below where they can click on a tutorial to help them further understand how to subtract binary numbers.
