Christmas Assembly Revised Schedule for the Day (Dec 19)
The students had their unit test today covering material from Chapter 6 (we did only sections 6.1 to 6.5 from this chapter but will do sections 6.6. to 6.10 when the students return from Christmas break). I mentioned to the students that they had the entire period to write the test if they needed it. Once they were finished the test, I told the students to work on the package I copied for them titled “EQAO Grade 9 Applied Released Assessment Questions (2013)″. Tomorrow I will be giving the students a second package to do over the Christmas break. I strongly advise students to do this EQAO package and the one that I will be giving tomorrow as it is in the same format as the actual EQAO assessment. The students will be writing the EQAO assessment over a span of 2 days (Jan 14 and Jan 15). The students would be given booklet 1 on Jan 14 and booklet 2 on Jan 15 (each package above would be what a booklet would be like).
