PLEASE NOTE: THE STUDENTS WILL BE HAVING A MINI-TEST ON TUE DEC 16 COVERING ALL OF THE MATERIAL FROM CHAPTER 5 (TRIGONOMETRY AND ACUTE TRIANGLES). I WILL BE REVIEWING THE CONCEPTS WITH THE STUDENTS ON FRI DEC 12 AND MON DEC 15 TO HELP THEM STUDY FOR THE UNIT TEST.

I began the class today by taking up any homework questions the students had from yesterday’s homework. I took up a few questions on the black board before moving on to today’s lesson. I told the students that this would be the last lesson in this unit which was titled “5.4 Applying Cosine Law Using Acute Triangles”. I went over the formula and then did a few examples for the students before assigning the homework (Pages 299 & 300 #1 to 4 (a only), 7 & 8).
