IMPORTANT: THE STUDENTS WILL BE HAVING A UNIT TEST ON CHAPTER 5 (SECTION 5.1 TO 5.5) ON TUE DEC 9. I WILL ALLOW THE STUDENTS TO HAVE A “CHEAT SHEET” FOR THEIR TEST ON TUE DEC 9. THIS CHEAT SHEET IS 8.5″ BY 11″ (LETTER SIZE) DOUBLE SIDED AND THE STUDENTS CAN WRITE ON IT (NOT TYPED) WHATEVER THEY WANT (EXAMPLES, FORMULAS …ETC). STUDENTS CANNOT PHOTOCOPY SOMEONE ELSE’S SHEET. I WILL GIVE THE STUDENTS TIME IN CLASS ON MON DEC 8 TO WORK ON THEIR “CHEAT SHEETS”.
I began the class today by taking up the answers to the 2 packages on the digital projector titled “EQAO Practice Questions – Graphing Relations – Part 2″ and “Chapter 5 Review Questions – Sections 5.2 to 5.5″ which I gave the students on Fri Dec 5 to work on for homework this past weekend (see the Dec 5 blog posting for further details). After taking up both packages I then told the students I would be giving them time today to work on their “Cheat Sheet” or the homework questions I had assigned them to do for extra review (Page 187 #4 to 7 and Page 188 #1 to 6) so they can prepare for their unit test tomorrow which covers all of the material from Chapter 5 of the textbook.
