I began the class today by handing back unit test #3 (Chapter 3 & Section 4.4 of the textbook) and unit test #5 (Chapter 7 of the textbook).  I mentioned to the students that I would post the answers to both tests on this blog so that they can check their answers (there is a copy of the answers to the tests below).  I then told the students that I was going to continue the lesson from Fri Dec 5 titled “5.1 Applying Trigonometric Ratios (continued)”.  I went over a few more examples before re-assigning the homework today.  The students are to do the following:  Applying Trigonometric Ratios; Page 271 & 272 #1 to 9; Page 314 #1 & 2.  I will take up any homework questions at the start of tomorrow’s class or students can email me directly if they have any questions (abawa@office.ldcsb.on.ca).
