Project Angel (Due by Dec 12) (students are to bring in money or a gift or both)
I began the class today going over the lesson we did in class yesterday on digital projector which was titled “5.1 Applying Trigonometric Ratios” (I also gave the students in class a printed copy of the lesson as well). I did this because there were a number of students away yesterday for the grade 11 Religion field trip. After going over yesterday’s lesson, I then told the students that I was going to continue the lesson from yesterday titled “5.1 Applying Trigonometric Ratios (continued)”. I went over a few new concepts we did not cover yesterday like angle of elevation and depression. I then did a few more examples before assigning the homework for this weekend.
I mentioned to the students that I was re-assigning the homework from Dec 3 and Dec 4 plus adding a few extra questions for this weekend. The students are to do the following: worksheets 1.) Trigonometric Ratios, 2.) Evaluating Trigonometric Ratios and 3.) Applying Trigonometric Ratios; Page 271 & 272 #1 to 9; Page 314 #1 & 2. Copies of the worksheets can be found below with answers.
Below you will find a copies of the handouts/worksheets that were distributed/assigned in today’s class.
