Brainstorming list of materials for students to bring in on Fri Nov 28
I began the class today by talking to the students about the upcoming door decorating contest. We came up with some ideas as a class and then I asked the students to bring things in on Fri Nov 28 so we can work on our door during class (I posted the list of some of the things we came up with above). After talking about the door decorating contest, I then told the students that we would be starting a new lesson today which was titled “7.7 Solving Exponential Decay Problems”. This is related to the lesson we did on Mon Nov 24 titled “7.6 Solving Exponential Growth Problems”. I went over the general formula for exponential decay and then did an example. After going over the example, I then assigned the homework for the students to work on for the remainder of the period (Pages 437 & 438 #1 to 6).
Below you will find a copies of the handouts/worksheets that were distributed/assigned in today’s class.
