I began the class today by quickly taking up the answers to the worksheet titled “Graphing Pictures Worksheet” on the digital projector. After taking up the worksheet, I then told the students that I was going to be doing the first lesson of Chapter 5 Graphing Relations titled “5.1 Interpreting Scatter Plots”. I started off by doing a lesson on the board. The first part of the lesson was a review of the Cartesian Plane (xy coordinate plane). Once I did the lesson on the board, I then gave the students a handout and we did a brief lesson on Scatter Plots on the digital projector. After the lesson I then gave the students some worksheets to complete for homework. The worksheets are titled “Plotting Points Worksheet #1 & 2” and “Section 5.1 – Interpreting Scatter Plots Worksheet”.
