I told the class today that since they have been working so hard and so well in the robotics and electronics unit that I would play some games with them in class today. I started off by putting a few brain teasers on the white board. After the brain teasers, I then put up some rebus puzzles on the digital projector. We did the rebus puzzles for most of the period. You can find the rebus puzzles that we do in class from the following website (http://www.puzzlesoup.com/ – click on “puzzles” on the left hand side and then choose a category from the drop-down menu titled “Search by Category”). Towards the end of the period I showed the students about 15 minutes of a video on Netflix titled “Video Games: The Movie (2014)”. Here is link to a video trailer from YouTube about the movie I showed the students in class today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jv2W0lbgVfY
The grade 12’s (TEJ4M) will continue with the robotics unit and the grade 11’s (TEJ3M) will continue with the electronics unit on Mon Nov 24 (see the Nov 19 blog posting for specific details about what each grade is currently working on).
Below you will find a copies of the handouts/worksheets that were distributed/assigned in today’s class.
TEJ3M & TEJ4M – List of students work not submitted (updated) (The students can look at this list to see which assignments/worksheets they still need to hand in. Students MUST tell me when they hand something in so I can update the list)
