MFM1P – Nov 20, 2014

IMPORTANT: THE STUDENTS WILL BE HAVING A UNIT TEST ON MON NOV 24 COVERING CHAPTER 3 OF THE TEXTBOOK (RELATIONSHIPS IN GEOMETRY).

I began the class today by reminding the students of their unit test on Mon Nov 24 covering sections 3.1 to 3.5.  I then took up the geometry package which I gave the students to work on yesterday titled “Chapter 3 Test Review #1”.  I went over the answers on the digital projector to make sure the students could check their answers and ask me if they had any questions.  After going over the solutions to the package on the digital projector, I then gave the students a package titled “EQAO Practice Questions – Relationships in Geometry”.  I told the students I would give them some time to do this in class and then we would take it up together once they had a chance to work on it.  Before the students left for the weekend, I then gave them another package titled “Chapter 3 Test Review #2” which will help them study for the unit test on Mon Nov 24.  I mentioned to the students that I would base the test on Mon 24 on the material from the 3 packages they were given yesterday and today (“Chapter 3 Test Review #1”, “Chapter 3 Test Review #2” &  “EQAO Practice Questions – Relationships in Geometry”).  You will find a copy of the package titled “Chapter 3 Test Review #1 Answers” and “EQAO Practice Questions – Relationships in Geometry Answers” below.
