Revised schedule for the day (Nov 18, 2014)
I began the class today by taking up any questions the students had from yesterday’s homework. After taking up the questions, I then told the students we would be continuing the lesson we had started yesterday titled “7.4 Working with Rational Exponents (continued)”. There were still a few more examples I wanted to cover from this section before moving on. After going over the examples, I then had the students get into their groups (I posted a copy of the groups below). We then did some activities in groups to help review the concepts we have learned in sections 7.2 to 7.4. By the end of the period, I had assigned the homework for the students to work on for the remainder of the period (Page 416 #6, 7, 9, 11 & 17).
