I began the class by asking the students if they had any questions they wanted me to take up from the homework. There were a few questions that were emailed to me over the last few days so I took those up first on the digital projector. After taking up the questions, I then mentioned to the students that we would be going to the computer lab to fill out a personal learning style quiz online. The quiz can be found at the link listed below:

I told the students that I would be away from class on Mon Nov 10 (only during period 5) for a PD (Professional Development) session at our school. The PD session is related to the personal learning style quiz from the link above so I asked all those students that were in class to complete the quiz and hand in a screenshot (JPEG image) of their results into the hand-in folder (I created a folder for them to hand in the JPEG). For those students that were not at school today, if they are able to do the quiz at home, they can email me their results (only if they are able to) to the my email address abawa@office.ldcsb.on.ca (I put a sample image of the results that students have to send me below). We came back to class after finishing the quiz with only 15 minutes left of class. I then put up 3 questions on the board for the students to try at their desks and then we took them up on the board before they left for the day. There is NO homework assigned for this weekend. I will post a copy of the 3 questions we did on the board (with answers) below.
