IMPORTANT:  THE STUDENTS WILL BE HAVING A UNIT TEST COVERING ALL OF CHAPTER 3 (PLUS SECTION 4.3) ON MONDAY NOVEMBER 3. 

I began the class today by taking up some questions the students had from the practice test I gave them to work on yesterday (see the Oct 30 blog posting for further details).  I told the students to review the practice test and the solutions to help them study for the unit test on Mon Nov 3.  After taking up the questions on the digital projector, I then wrote a list of specific topics on the black board outlining what the students should be paying attention to for the test.  After talking to the students about the test, I then assigned some work from the textbook that will be additional practice to help the students study of the unit test (Page 184 #1 – 10 – Chapter self test).  I then told the students that I would show them a few Halloween YouTube videos on the digital projector to end the class.
