MFM1P – Oct 28, 2014

I began the class today by mentioning to the students that I would be away from school tomorrow (Oct 29).  I then reminded the students that they would be having a unit test on Thur Oct 30 covering all of the topics from Chapter 1.  If the students have any questions before the test, I encourage them to email me their questions directly (abawa@office.ldcsb.on.ca).

I began the class today by taking up any questions the students had from yesterday’s homework.  I started off by taking up a few questions that were emailed to me (Page 36 #7 & Page 39 #11).  After taking up the homework questions, I gave the students a practice test to work on (this is the first of 3 practice tests which the students will be getting – I will be giving 2 more tomorrow while I am away).  The students were to then work on the practice test for the remainder of the period.  You can find the answers for the practice test below.

Below you will find a copies of the handouts/worksheets that were distributed/assigned in today’s class.

Take-up of the homework from Oct 27 (page 39 #13) (I took this up on the black board today.  I did not have a chance to do #14 & 15 in class but I will post the answers later this evening)
