MFM1P – Oct 22, 2014

IMPORTANT:  THE STUDENTS WILL BE HAVING A UNIT TEST ON CHAPTER 1 (MEASURING FIGURES & OBJECTS) ON THUR OCT 30.  

REMINDERS:  PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS  ARE OCT 23 SO PLEASE TRY TO BOOK A TIME WITH ME ASAP.  PROGRESS REPORTS WERE GIVEN OUT ON FRI OCT 17.  STUDENTS ARE TO RETURN THE BOTTOM PORTION OF THE PROGRESS REPORT ASAP (SIGNED BY PARENTS IF YOU ARE LESS THAN 18 YEARS OLD).  

I began the class today by taking up any questions the students had from yesterday’s homework.  There were some questions that were emailed to me which I took up on the digital projector, and a few questions I had to take up on the blackboard because they were asked in class.  After taking up the questions, I then gave the students an EQAO package which I made up based on the material from this unit (chapter 1 measuring figures and objects).  I told the students that I would be checking tomorrow to see if they finished this package and will also take up the answers at the start of tomorrow’s class.
