I began the class today by taking up any questions the students had from yesterday’s homework. I started off by taking up 3 questions that were emailed to me yesterday (Pages 9 & 10 #6, 7 & 10). After taking up the homework questions, I then moved on to the lesson for today which was titled “1.3 Area of Composite Figures” . I first went over some definitions and diagrams with the students so they understood the concepts in this section. I then gave the students some examples before assigning the homework for them to work on for the remainder of the period (Pages 12 to 14 #1 – 7).
