TEJ3M/4M – Oct 1, 2014

REMINDER: WE HAVE AN ASSEMBLY TODAY AT THE END OF THE DAY. THIS IS OUR GST (GOOD SAMARITAN TEAM) ASSEMBLY SO THERE IS A REVISED SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY AND CLASS ARE SHORTENED. BELOW IS A COPY OF THE SCHEDULE.

GST (Good Samaritan Team) Revised Day Schedule

I began the class today by taking up the worksheet I had assigned to the students yesterday titled “Binary Multiplication Worksheet”.  Before taking up the answers with the students, I showed the students a YouTube video specifically looking at adding four 1’s (I did not teach this in the binary addition lesson and some students needed to know this for this worksheet).  Below is a link to the YouTube video I showed the students:

After showing the video, I then went around to check to see who had finished their work and had checked all their answers.  I then took a picture of the students’ work and then put it up on the digital projector to take up the answers with the rest of the class.

After taking up the answers to the binary multiplication worksheet with the students, I then told them we would be doing a short lesson on ASCII (American Standard Code Information Interchange) Code.  I gave the students a handout titled “The ASCII Code System”.  I briefly went over the handout with them and then gave them a worksheet titled “ASCII Code Worksheet”.  The students could then apply what they learned from the short lesson to the worksheet.  I told the students I would take up the answers to this worksheet tomorrow but I will post the answers below for those students that are finished.

Below you will find a copies of the handouts/worksheets that were distributed/assigned in today’s class.
