Terry Fox Walk Sept 25, 2014 (Revised Day Schedule)
I began the class today by reminding the students about their unit test on Mon Sept 29. I told the students that if they were to study the lesson we did on Sept 22 titled “Chapter 1 Test Review”, the “First Practice Test Answers”, “Second Practice Test Answers” and “Practice Review Package for Unit 1 Test Answers” then that would help prepare them for the test (I will post links to all the resources listed below). After talking to the students about the test, I then went over the rest of the answers to the “Practice Review Package for Unit 1 Test Answers” which I had started to take up in class yesterday. After taking up the answers, I then started new lesson titled “Chapter 2 The Algebra of Quadratic Expressions – Getting Started”. We ran out of time because it was a shortened period so I was unable to get as much of the lesson done as I wanted to, but I told the students that the homework I was assigning them to do for the weekend was a review and a warm up for chapter 2 (page 74 to 76 #1 – 14).
