IMPORTANT: THE UNIT TEST COVERING ALL OF CHAPTER 1 WILL NOW BE ON MON SEPT 29 (IT WAS ORIGINALLY SHEDULED FOR THU SEPT 25). IT IS BEING MOVED TO MON SEPT 29 BECAUSE THU SEPT 25 IS THE TERRY FOX WALK AND CLASSES ARE SHORTENED AND FRI SEPT 27 IS A PD DAY.

Terry Fox Walk Sept 25, 2014 (Revised Day Schedule)
I began the class today by letting the students know that I moved the test to Mon Sept 29. I had to do this because tomorrow is a shortened period and students will need more time to write their test. I told the students that we would continue with a new lesson in tomorrow’s class (Chapter 2) but the students would have to study for their test over the weekend. I then told the students that I was going to take up the practice test I gave them on Sept 22 (this is the one titled “First Practice Test” below). I went over all of the answers on the digital projector and then started to go over package I gave them yesterday to do in class titled “Practice Review Package for Unit 1 Test”. I put the questions up on the digital projector and then asked students to put up their answers. We only go through the first 2 pages of questions before it was time to go. I told the students I would go over the rest of the answers to this package in class tomorrow and will post the answers on tomorrow’s blog posting to this package.
Please Note: I told the students to help them study for the unit test on Mon Sept 29, they should look the lesson we did on Sept 22 titled “Chapter 1 Test Review” (see Sept 22 blog posting for a copy of the lesson), they should study the “First Practice Test Answers”, “Second Practice Test Answers” and Practice Review Package for Unit 1 Test Answers”.
