REMINDER: THE STUDENTS WILL BE HAVING AN IN-CLASS OPEN BOOK ASSIGNMENT ON MON SEPT 15 RELATED TO ALL OF THE MATERIAL WE HAVE DONE IN SO FAR (THERE INCLUDE ALL OF THE WORK THE STUDENTS HAVE DONE FROM THE WORKSHEETS THEY HAVE BEEN GIVEN).
I began the class today by taking up any questions the students had from the 2 worksheets I had assigned yesterday titled “Variable Substitution & Fractions Worksheet” and “Fraction Word Problems”. I told the students that I would post the answers to these worksheets here on today’s blog post (see attachments below). After taking up the questions, I then moved on the activity for today which was a review of the concepts the students have done since the beginning of the course. I put questions up on the board and the students were to try them at their desk as I went around to check. I then had students go to the board to put up their answers. We then took the answers up. We went right until the end of the period. We only go to do some of the concepts as a class, so I told the students that they should go over the worksheets we have done since the start of the course. I have also attached the answers to those worksheets below. There was no homework assigned for today’s class. Students can study and organize their notes to prepare for the assignment.
