REMINDER: THE STUDENTS HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC REVIEW TEST ON FRI SEPT 5 BASED ON THE REVIEW QUESTIONS FROM HOMEWORK ASSIGNED ON TUE SEPT 2. ALSO, STUDENTS ARE REMINDED TO BRING THEIR COURSE OUTLINE TO SCHOOL SIGNED.
I began the class today by taking up questions the students had from the diagnostic review worksheet I gave them yesterday. I told the students I would give them a little bit of time towards at the end of the class to finish off their worksheets and then they had to hand it in to be marked. I let the students know that I wanted them to hand in the diagnostic so I could see how much they got done and also wanted to mark them. I will hand them back tomorrow so they can use them to study for their diagnostic test on Fri Sept 5. After talking to the students about the diagnostic, I then moved on to the lesson for today’s class which was titled “Integers Review”. I went over some definitions and then did some examples on the board before assigning the students a worksheet which was titled “Integers Review Worksheet”. I will be checking homework tomorrow and will take up any questions the students have from this worksheet.
